Something not working, or a question we haven't answered here? Email mkpropositions@gmail.com and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. It helps if you tell us the email address on your account and what you were doing when it went wrong.

Managing your subscription

Where you manage bolo+ depends on where you bought it. If you subscribed in the iPhone app, Apple handles the billing: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and you can change or cancel from there. Refunds for App Store purchases are requested from Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com.

If you subscribed in the Android app, Google handles the billing: open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, and you can change or cancel from there. Refunds for Play purchases are requested from Google at play.google.com/store/account.

If you subscribed on the web, billing runs through Paddle and you can manage it from Settings in bolo. Our Refund Policy covers that case.

Reinstalled the app, or signed in on a new device, and bolo+ is missing? In the app, go to Settings, tap Upgrade under bolo+, and choose Restore purchases. On Android this is usually already done for you — a Play subscription follows your Google account — so if the button finds nothing, check you are signed in to bolo with the account that bought it.

Your account and your data

You can delete your account, and everything in it, from Settings under Account. It is immediate and cannot be undone. What we collect and why is set out in our Privacy Policy.

If you can't sign in — you've uninstalled the app, or lost access to your account — email mkpropositions@gmail.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll delete the account and everything in it — your recipes, plans, shopping list, photos and club history — and reply to confirm.

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove things. Recipes, weekly plans, photos, cookbooks and clubs can each be deleted from inside bolo, and if you'd rather we removed something for you, email mkpropositions@gmail.com and tell us what to delete.

Reporting a problem with content or another person

Recipes, cookbooks and photos in bolo are created by the people you share with. You can block someone from their profile at any time. If you come across content that shouldn't be there, or someone is behaving badly, email mkpropositions@gmail.com with a link or a screenshot and we'll look into it.
